An ongoing theme… much as I hold with personal responsibility and karmic exchange, sometimes we just need to have trust in the Great Spirit and the flow of the Universe. Work is really challenging me at the moment, and just when I started to question it all, a wonderful message came through from someone who has been inspired by a development programme I have run, and her whole life is changing in ways which I did not expect, but am delighted by.
So Spirit gives me the thing I need, just when I needed it, without me having to ask. And I am reminded how important my work is to me, and why I need to keep on doing it.
One of my Druid family, and someone I respect, uses this triad a lot - it’s a favourite of his, I think, and is an underlying ethos of the camps. I have it pinned on my desk to remind me that when the challenges start to feel overwhelming, work itself is worship and service is a sacred duty. For our flame to have purpose in the world, we must use it to kindle other flames. And there is another story…
