Lovely photo,
I always think that trees could tell a tale if they could speak. I look at big old trees and think…that tree was here long before me and mine and it has witnessed comings and goings of long ago. I wish I could see all that it has seen.
Thank you Wendy. Yes, they are wonderful aren’t they. There is a wonderful folk song called ‘The Woodlands of England’ by Ashley Hutchings which echoes your thoughts - you can get it off itunes. If we listen hard, perhaps we can hear them…
